Alright I know I have not updated since the first week or so. It looks like my schedule and workload this semester will kill any chances of me having three meals, so I guess I can bid goodbye to any dieting I had lined up. As for the gym.. I will try the weekends? I'm really trying! But nine to six days do not help much. Till I hit the gym next, whenever that may be! xo

Second Workout

My second workout shall be on Tuesday, right after my Current Economic Issues exam. I have decided to do 50 sit ups every night before I sleep too. Hopefully I will see some abs soon!

Will Glamour Make Me Glamorous?

I tried the workout that I read in Glamour magazine today. I felt pretty tired by the end of the thirty minutes. I went on the bike and alternated between level five intensity and level two intensity. I looked like an idiot because every one around me was biking at crazy intensities and there I was dying at five. Oh! Something awesome happened at the gym today! The television right in front of me played Gossip Girl season 2! That certainly made the workout less boring. In all, the reader on the bike said that I had burnt 100 calories, not too many after all. I think that I will still stick with the Glamour workout and see what results they yield after a month. I wonder how many times I should hit the gym in a week?

Hall Food

I had pizza and chips tonight. I know, such a faux pas in the world of weight loss. I did not have much of choice though, blame Cavendish food! It was pizza, pizza or pasta. At least tonight's food was edible. I tried to make myself feel better by adding some side salad. It did not work. :(

Complete side note to losing weight. I wanted to write this somewhere so that I will always remember that I am showered with abundant love from my mum. I have been doing absolutely horribly in my exams. I am convinced that I have not passed anything. I was such a nervous wreck I had to call my mum and I told her about my impending doom. She did the sweetest thing ever by sending me my favourite flowers, a teddy bear and chocolates to cheer me up. I hope that I will always have my mummy around because there is nothing I can do that will stop her from loving me as much as she does now. Simply put, shes an amazing mother.

First Workout

My first workout at the gym shall be on Saturday, 16th Jan. I shall be trying out the workout regime recommended by the people at Glamour magazine (UK). It is in their February issue. Basically the workout varies intensity. The first ten minutes will be 30 seconds of intense cardiovascular activity, followed by 60 seconds of moderate activity. The next ten minutes will be 60 seconds of intense activity, followed by 60 seconds of moderate activity and the last ten minutes will be 90 seconds of intense activity, followed by the usual, 60 seconds of recovery time. My first choice would be the treadmill, but if they are all taken, I will hit the bikes. Lets see how that works out!

Virgin Post!

I think this blog is pretty self explanatory! Basically I weighed myself the other day while I was holidaying in Singapore and found that I was a whooping 51kg! Since my asshole of a boyfriend has decided that he likes skinny bitches and would like me to be 45kg, I shall exercise my way to becoming the perfect girlfriend-- as I am sure I am in every other way already. ;) I am now back at university in the UK taking my exams. I should imagine that this stressful period and the horribly disgusting food that I am subjected to in my hall would have allowed me to drop a kilo already. I shall double check this in the gym soon! Anyway, the goal is to be 45kg in 4 months and to sustain that weight for the next month proceeding that. This blog shall chronicle that (hopefully) sucessful journey!
